This vibrant powwow honors the rich Native American heritage of our Friends and staff while supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Experience traditional powwow activities including gourd dancing, grand entry ceremonies, inter-tribal competitions, cultural demonstrations, arts and crafts, food vendors, and family-friendly activities—all fully accessible to individuals of all abilities. All proceeds benefit programs and services for the I/DD community, making every moment of celebration an investment in inclusion and empowerment. This powwow serves multiple purposes: honoring Native American traditions, promoting disability awareness and acceptance, building community connections, and demonstrating that cultural events can be fully accessible to all participants.
