Gatesway Foundation Strengthens Leadership Structure to Support Strategic Growth
Tulsa, OK, 2/19/26 – Gatesway Foundation is pleased to announce that Kristi Tackett has been appointed Executive Director of Gatesway Foundation. Kristi brings more than 22 years of dedicated service and deep institutional knowledge to the organization. Her hands-on leadership has been instrumental in advancing Gatesway’s mission and ensuring high-quality support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
With more than 22 years at Gatesway in Human Resources, Accounting, Executive Administration, and many other facets within the organization, she brings deep institutional knowledge and will lead the Foundation’s day-to-day operations. Greg Arend will transition from Acting Chief Executive Officer to Senior Advisor to the Board, focusing on real estate development, capital planning and long-term asset strategy, supporting Kristi in her transition, and will continue serving on the Board of Gatesway Care Services.
Upon completion of its campus and housing expansion, Gatesway will offer more than 350 housing units across the Tulsa metro area, including over 300 on its 41-acre Broken Arrow campus. These initiatives advance Gatesway’s vision for fully integrated, accessible, master-planned communities that go beyond traditional affordable housing. By combining affordable and supportive I/DD housing with embedded healthcare, services, employment pathways and long-term sustainability, Gatesway is creating environments that foster belonging, independence and dignity for individuals and families throughout their lives.
